Sally Moore

Licensed in Michigan (1996) and New York (2011), Sally is a seasoned litigator with over 20 years of experience. She earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and began her career with the Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office, where she handled a full spectrum of criminal matters throughout the Wayne County Criminal Court system.

Transitioning to civil litigation, Sally joined The Auto Club (AAA), focusing on No-Fault and Bodily Injury defense. Over the years, she has represented major national insurance carriers—including State Farm, Allstate, GEICO, and Nationwide—in both Michigan and New York. Her experience spans all aspects of No-Fault, bodily injury, premises liability (slip and fall), and construction-related labor law cases involving both personal and multi-million-dollar commercial insurance lines. She has successfully tried numerous civil cases to verdict.

Sally also served with the City of Detroit Law Department, where she defended against serious auto-related claims and civil rights/police misconduct actions. After years of dedicated defense work, Sally joined Elia and Ponto, PLLC, bringing her extensive litigation background to advocate for clients with the same tenacity and skill that defined her defense career.
